Outreach
OUTREACH
We coordinate donations and services in support of the wider community.
Much of our effort is put into nurturing the bodies and souls of
our neighbors here in the South Bay.
Each first Sunday of the month, we collect food for our emergency
food pantry (which is open on Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m.).
Our children give financial support for schooling and books to
our friend Marta in Guatemala.
We encourage and support our youth to participate in the camp program
of the United Church of Christ.
We provide a monthly home-cooked dinner at the InnVision Commercial
Street Inn for battered women and their children.
We give Christmas gifts of needed clothes, toiletries and other
supplies to the men at the InnVision men’s shelter.
We provide a monthly worship and fellowship service with Convalescent
Hospital Ministries to San Tomas Convalescent Hospital.
We support future ministers at Pacific School of Religion and those
who have already served through Veterans of the Cross.
Through our funds and our gifts, we support Second Harvest Food
Bank, Habitat for Humanity, the Bill Wilson Center, the Santa Clara
Council of Churches, and the mission and ministries of the United
Church of Christ.
