Grow - Wide, Deep and Up - Sept. 10 - Nov. 26, 2006

Real faith in a real life. That's what following Jesus is about, and what it's always been about. We spent the spring and summer discovering the basic disciplines of Christian practice. These disciplines are what shape us for living a life of abundance, and provide us our fallback practices for when living is hard. We began to see how deep and articulated beliefs - even if we struggle with them - give us the foundation for a lived and lively faith. Now, it's time to grow. We grow wide when we accept our own welcome by God, and actually expand our welcome beyond our own family. We grow deep when we get equipped for sharing our experience of Jesus with others. And we grow up when our heartbreak and our heartburst meets, and we share God's love and healing power with a world in pain.   Are you ready to grow? Let's do it together.

Strengthen Your Core - July 16 -- Sept. 3, 2006

In Worship, we examined the key underpinnings of Christian belief. In our small group classes, we'd broken down the real life obstacles to a growing faith. Online, we've studied scripture and shared experience. In the community, we've practiced our faith by giving to others. Godly - June 11 - July 19, 2006

We talked about getting real, in the hope of getting Godly. We talked about what it might mean for you to live a faith-filled real life. We are trying to integrate our faith lives and our real lives: how to have just one life that includes Godly work, Godly home, Godly rest, and Godly society.

Take Hold of Real Life - April 30 - June 4, 2006

What does it mean: a real life? A resurrected life? During the past six weeks, we've been talking together about taking hold of real life — about what a resurrected life looks like.   We've looked at six characteristics of a resurrected and real life: eternity, wholeness, wisdom, fruitfulness, focus, and gifts.   Each of these is part of that real life you gain when you choose to believe in Jesus as Christ and to follow his way.

At the Crossroads - March 19 - April 16, 2006

We've been looking at the Cross in a new way: as the intersection of the divine and the human. Our message series was At the Crossroads ... of divinity and humanity. During our Sunday 10 a.m. Worship, we have explored some of the pain and challenges of being human (temptation, brokenness, despair, defeat, and death) and how relationship with God through Jesus provides relief, healing, and hope.
